I am totally surprised by this new.Just doesn't seem possible. Is it budget cuts? yet you say they are spending the same $. So it seems that the competitive American spirit, always striving for higher standers in education ,quality of life and reaching for the stars has really stepped down. Stepped out of line, to do what? I am not 100% sure, but I feel like this is a really bad sign to the rest of the world.I sense a hidden agenda here. BTW , BHTMs once in history Blue sky sung in space is WAY better than a Grammy. Although I truly believe you all deserve one for your historic collaboration Tribute to Robert Johnson.undrion
Hey Todd, I was taken by surprise myself on the news. My father worked for The Space Program and was with them for 27 of them! Phew! He'd still be there if he hadn't passed away. SOooo, All of us kids have loads of remebilia going back to the 1st "Columbia." Alot of cool things have happened to me since I was a child involving the Satellites, Minutemans and USA Missles off the coast of California where I grew up. I got to shoot off one of them into the Ocean there sitting on my fathers lap under the surface @ the Beach! They tested them back then. Also, a dear friend of mine who designed and built the Astronauts Museum in Cocoa Beach, Fla. I watched his Fam' when he and his wife attended the Grand Opening with Neil Armstong there, etc... Ok, have alot to share...but am moving along! I too will miss The Shuttle! Ahhhh sweet Memories. I know my father saw this last Shuttle "The Atlantis" go off from Heaven's Home~ LovU Dad...kuddo's to ya. Wish I could put his "Challenger" license plate on my car, but someone would rip it off for sure!~bummmer...
Todd, I appreciate your interest in NASA, and your talents and efforts in writing a Shuttle Return to Flight song "Blue Sky". Last Friday was the 118th flight of the space shuttle since I first started working for NASA Kennedy Space Center. The launching of the final space shuttle Atlantis (STS-135) did not lend itself to "Blue Sky", but a day that was "Bittersweet". Thank you for your support!
A sad time for sure, especially for those growing up with a Dad/Mom at the space center for so many years...dedicating so much to space flights. So many great accomplishments...Thanks for Blue Sky and so much more..

You're a freakin' insightful musical genius! Great job on a delicate and tough subject!
